Public website and ordinary email
Do not submit a Veteran’s name, date of birth, Social Security number, medical records, C-file, or other protected health information through the public inquiry form or in an initial ordinary email. The website form is intended only to identify the law firm, the professional contact, and the general medical question or workflow need.
Formal case materials
After professional contact, Valor ordinarily prefers PageAI or Dropbox for transfer of C-files and medical records. The firm’s own information-security, privacy, retention, and transfer requirements control the engagement, and another agreed method can be used when firm policy requires it. The transfer method should be arranged before records are sent.
How submitted information is used
Professional inquiry information is used to respond to the inquiry and evaluate a potential engagement. Case materials accepted for review are used for the medical assignment defined by counsel.
Electronic record-review tools
Electronic tools may assist with organizing, searching, and querying a large record. They are used to support record management and source retrieval. They do not make the medical judgment. Robert Townsend, DO remains responsible for the medical reasoning and signed conclusion.
Firm-specific requirements
For recurring or batch work, the firm and Valor can standardize transfer method, file naming, issue framing, access expectations, and other workflow requirements before records are exchanged. Valor does not require a firm to bypass its own approved record-handling process.
